Today I took many pictures relating to both the idea of freezing a moment in time as well as letting time pass within a photograph. I wanted to do something simple, so the time passing could easily be seen with the differing shutter speeds. It turns out that this task is actually more difficult than I initially anticipated, but I should be able to get some good examples and and good idea of what changing shutter speed does to affect how my camera documents time. It is tough to get a good print of the actions because the lighting is not perfect, but I believe that what I have gotten should be satisfactory and teach the class about the concept of time in photography.
